Us Backstreet fans will be there for you when you get better and we support you in the decision you made to check into the rehab center because you realized that you need help. I some-what understand where he is coming from with the lose of his grandmother and all. My mother died when I was 14 years old, just over 3 years ago. I had to go into see a doctor two days a week for almost a year. AJ and I are both capircorns, and we are pretty detirmined to do what we have to do to make our lives better. I know that he can make it through this tough time in his life. He has always seemed to do what he wants to, and since he is the one that signed up for treatment, he wants to do it and will do it. Hey Hun! Well, let me start off by saying "Wow" When I found out you were checking into rehab, my heart had sunk in so deep in my chest that it was like I couldn't brethe. Ever had that feeling? Well after I had finally let it sink into my head, I cried and cried but I knew you were going to be ok. That you have always been ok. But you were at your breaking point and felt you couldn't go on anymore. I live in a small city know as Roanoke, located in Virginia. I was watching out local news and they showed clips of you singing "I just want to be happy" and at the end of the story, they wished you the best of luck. That next day, I was in a Backstreet Boys Chat room. Some people were making fun of you and it really upset me as Im sure lots of others. But I think I stood up for you..I said something like " Well atleast AJ can admit he had a problem and realized that he couldn't get past this one by himself. Atleast he had the courage to make the first step and say "I have a problem" unlike most people in the music bussiness that wait til they hit rock bottom and have a nerves breakdown and then say they need help. AJ has a strong heart and knows that he is doing the right thing" I know that may sound stupid, but it came from my heart. AJ, you have been number one in my heart, and you will always stay in my heart, no matter what. Thats why I believe that in the end, and when all this is over, you will be happier, healther, and most of all more sucessful!! That's why I know everything is going to be ok. This is coming from a fan in Boston. When I heard about your condition I was devistated. I went through depression in middle school, and had to go threw rehab, I am happy to say that it really helped and now as a freshmen in college I am doing fine. I know that you will be fine too, you seem like a strong person, and I know things may seem tough, but remember you have overwhelming support from all your fans,friends,and family. I am so upset to hear the bad news.... but getting help as soon as you could was the right thing to do. Even though I don't know you I feel like I do. I have been keeping tabs on you and the guys for years. I have problems with depression of my own and I know how it feels when life just totally sucks. I, along with many other fans can tell that you are strong and we all know that you will make it through. The time off and the help you will be recieving will do you good. As I keep writing I am running out of things to say because everything I do have to say is sooo cliche. (don't tell me.... I know that there is an accent mark over the E). In some ways I do know what you are feeling. Most days I sit and wonder if life is worth living and somedays I wonder if I will ever succeed in life. You might not wonder that, but when you are dealing with depression it might cross your mind. I totally feel for you and I know that you can pull through. Once all of your rehab is over I have a feeling BSB will come back stronger than ever and I just can't wait. You guys totally rock and I love you (in a good and healty fan kinda way)!!!

I know what you are going through is very hard, in fact I've been there myself. My grandfather died 5 years ago and I was very close to him, a few months after he died I went through depression, anxiety attacks, it turned my world upside down, although I didn't seek help, I made it through from the love of my family and friends and people who stood by me and supported me. All I can say is that I support you as a fan and a person out of many who cares because I honestly know what you are dealing with inside. I wish you the best and remember to take things one day at a time. Just hang in there and remember keep smiling!

Remember that lots of girls see you as a role model, an idol, and shit, and there are very little girls that want to be like you ( I know one of age 7) and she want to start smoking (Of course her dad knock the shit out of her when he found out that she was smoking) because she wanted to be like you, damn she is in love with you man. So please, don't do it cuz they force you to, do it for yourself, for your fans, and please, please, please, please for me. I will give up anything just for you to give up smoking.

I commend you to the utmost for being man enough to admit that you had a problem and that you needed help. I also know in my heart that you are going to be alright because you're such a decent young man. This message board also gives me an opportunity to personally say thank you to you and all the Backstreet Boys for helping my daughter and myself deal with a serious sitation when my daughter was faced with surgery three years ago. I understand what your going through.Recently, my dad was arrested for asaulting my mom. And he has done this b4 in the past. He did any kind of drugs and alcohol. Now my life just isnt the same. I dont know what to do. Just to try and stay strong. Even though im very mad at him and i never want to speak to him again, theres just a little space in my heart thats empty. Maybe its just because im missing him. Or maybe its just that i need to find myself to fill that space. I know, we all have problems in our lifes, but we can use that as an excuse to get mad at other people when they didnt do it. So dont use an excuse from your past,...
